Our Day at the Fall Festival

A Broken What?

My poor girl. Last Wednesday I received a call from preschool—-she had been running on the playground, slipped on the pavement and hurt her arm. After a trip to the ER we found that she had actually broken (a “buckle break”) her arm in two places just above her wrist. Her Great-Grandmother, “Mooma”, Grandpa Tommy and his girlfriend, Sheryl, brought her a few presents—which she is modeling here. She loves her sash, tiara, wand and poodle purse!

August – Where Did It Go?

August has come and gone. Where has the time gone? It seems as the months move along, my little ones continue to surprise me!

Kings Dominion!

Mathew & I took Charlotte for her very first visit to Kings Dominion yesterday. We had so much fun! Charlotte’s height was measured to see what rides she could go on & she is 42 inches – so that meant all of the baby rides & a few small roller coasters. We went on the Scooby Doo roller coaster first:

After that we rode the Avalanche. We let Daddy ride a Volcano and this scary ride, Tomb Raider (that’s him all the way to the left):

 

After that, we had lunch (foot long hot dogs and Icee’s), then Daddy & Charlotte went on the Eiffel Tower. Then we went to see SpongeBob Squarepants in 3D and that was F-U-N! Followed that up with 2 rides on the Log Flume with both Mommy & Daddy. Then Daddy & Charlotte rode the Flying Eagles. After that we all shared a large frozen lemonaid, did a little shopping and then went to see the SpongeBob Squarepants 3D movie again. Charlotte was promised an ice cream cone, so she ate a cone in the shade and then it was time to call it a day. It was so much fun that Mommy promised Charlotte she would take her back next month!
